Man, we should be fired. No posts since last January. And we’re writers! Except it is our own podcast.
While we haven’t been active here on the blog, we have still kept the new episodes coming, sometimes with just a trio or even the OG crew if needed. Life happens you know. Getting six in the same room is tough.
Been tougher to get seven or eight. We finally have author Mick Williams lined up to guest. This is a biggie for us. Mick comes to us from Fern Creek via Stoke on Trent. Yes, that’s England/Britain/United Kingdom. We’re super excited to have him on, despite all the domestic trouble it means for poor Francis. We’re going to talk not just writing, but what do you do after you’ve written something, how to get the word out and get people reading and of course buying.
We’ve also been trying to line up having Mike and Janell Bass, founders of Ponyboy Bourbon cocktails on. The communication channel is open, and they’re amenable, but we need to figure out how to support so many folks. Multiple Tascams will be required.
Hopefully one of these days we’ll get our poop in a group, our effluviant clustered, and so on. There are opportunities waiting for us out there. Dreams that can be reached. Personally, I’m ready to endorse and influence on a raft of things. Bourbon, books, beard grooming products, men’s fashions, I’m ready for the call. Perhaps S&O should have a TikTok channel.
Anyway, hopefully you have been hanging with us and enjoying the episodes. I think they’ve been awesome. Monty Python drops soon, and an excellent Albert Camus episode for Code of Honor right before Christmas. See you soon Otterites.
